What does DTF feel like?

The feel would depend on the type of powder you are using and the thickness of your ink layer. More ink will absorb more powder and make the overall result feel thicker. Our soft and stretchy DTF powder has better hand than traditional vinyl or other types of heat transfer. It’s elastic and soft to the touch. It is not softer than DTG prints however.

I am currently developing a design for an alcohol brand and I need to know if dtf printing can be used for self-adhesive labels. Examples of what the result of labels for alcohol should look like.

It's not going to work. It's too soft and stretchy, not self adhesive and it has a thick layer of hot melt that's too thick for bottles. UV DTF might work for that but you will need a completely different set of equipment. Unless you are printing hundreds of thousands of labels, would it not be easier to get a professional bottle label printing company to print you some self adhesive bottle labels?
