DTF Film

DTF film, also known as DTF paper or DTF heat transfer film is a vital part in any DTF printing operation. We provide top of the line DTF Film which produces exceptional vibrance, clarity and detail. Made with premium materials and multi-layer coating manufacturing techniques, our DTF film has been proven to be one of the best in the industry. Our DTF heat transfer film comes in two peel variations. Hot peel and warm peel. Each type of film is the same across different roll and sheet sizes.

Our DTF film has antistatic and anti warping properties which means you won’t have to deal with excess DTF powder being stuck to places it is not supposed to be. Anti warping materials prevent the film from warping under heat press or in the oven resulting in even DTF transfers. Grippy underside coating in our double matte, also known as double side film, insures perfect jam free printer feeding.

PET heat transfer film can be purchased in many different sizes to fit your requirements. A4 DTF sheets, A3 DTF sheets, A3+ DTF sheets, 30cm wide DTF rolls, 33cm wide DTF rolls, 40cm DTF rolls, 42cm DTF rolls, 45cm DTF rolls and 60cm DTF rolls. If you require a particular film size that we don’t currently stock, please get in touch as we may be able to arrange a custom size batch.

Here are a few common questions:

What is the difference between double matte (double side) and single matte (single side) film? Both types of film have one printing surface. Double matte film is just single matte film with an additional underside coating which improves feeding and warping.

What is the difference between hot peel and warm/cold peel film? Hot peel film can be peeled almost instantly after your DTF transfer has been pressed onto the garment. Usually within 5 seconds or so. Warm peel film takes slightly longer, usually around 20 seconds. Cold peel film needs to be completely cool before peeling.

What are the suggested temperatures and application instructions? Both types of film that we sell can be cured and pressed at 150C (300F). We suggest 2 presses for optimal results. 1st press for 15 seconds of medium/high pressure. Peel the film with a rolling motion. Press again for an additional 10 seconds with a sheet of parchment or heat press paper on top of your design. The second press makes your transfer feel softer.
